Mae’r gweithgaredd hwn yn gofyn i’r plant gofnodi’r tymheredd am 5 diwrnod a’i gofnodi mewn tabl. Mae taflen o thermomedrau gwag i’r plant ddangos y lefelau tymheredd.
This activity asks the children to record the temperature for 5 days and record it in a table. There is a sheet of blank thermometers for the children to show the temperature levels.
Cam 1: Trosolwg ar y gweithgaredd ar gyfer y rhieni, gofalwyr a’r disgyblion
Cam 1.Bydd angen cymryd y tymheredd ddwywaith y dydd am 5 ddiwrnod – unwaith yn y bore ac unwaith yn y prynhawn – os yn bosibl ar yr un amserau bob dydd. Os nad oes gennych thermomedr awyr agored i gyflawni’r gweithgaredd hwn, mae tymereddau cyfartalog ar gyfer pob ardal wedi’u cofnodi ar-lein. Beth am ddefnyddio app fel ‘BBC Weather?’
The temperature will need to be taken twice a day for 5 days – once in the morning and once in the afternoon – if possible at the same times every day. If you haven’t got an outdoor thermometer to complete this activity the average temperatures for each area are recorded online. What about using an app such as ‘BBC Weather?’
Cam 2: Cyflwyniad i’r gweithgaredd a gwybodaeth ychwanegol
Cam 2.Mae’r dasg yn gofyn i’r plant ymarfer y sgil o ddarllen thermomedr ddwywaith y dydd am 5 ddiwrnod. I’r rhai sydd heb thermomedr gellid ymarfer y sgil yma pan ofynnir i’r plant liwio’r tymheredd cywir ar y thermomedr gwag yn ail ran y dasg. Gellir gweld tymereddau i’ch ardal leol ar-lein neu trwy wylio rhagolygon y tywydd ar y teledu.
Gellir cofnodi’r holl ddata y mae’r plant yn eu casglu yn y tabl a’i liwio ar y thermomedrau gwag, a’u trosglwyddo i’r graff bar.
The task asks the children to practise the skill of reading a thermometer twice a day for 5 days. For those who do not have access to a thermometer this skill can be practised when the children are asked to colour the correct temperature on the blank thermometer in the second part of the task. Temperatures to your local area can be found online or by watching the weather forecast on the television.
All the data the children collect can be recorded in the table and coloured on the blank thermometers, and transferred to the bar graph.

- Cofnodwch y tymheredd yn y tabl a lliwiwch y thermomedr gwag i ddangos y tymheredd cywir. Record the temperature in the table and colour the blank thermometer to show the correct temperature.
- Trosglwyddwch y data bob dydd o’r tabl a’i gofnodi mewn graff bar. Every day transfer the data from the table and record it in a bar graph.

Unwaith y byddwch wedi cwblhau’r dasg cewch anfon unrhyw beth yr ydych wedi e greu drwy’r e-bost (ffotograffau, dogfennau, llun sgrin ac yn y blaen) yn syth i’ch athro neu ei lwytho i fyny’n uniongyrchol i unrhyw rai o’r lleoedd sydd ar gael yng Ngham 5.
Cam 4: Gweithgareddau estynnol a dilynol/heriau (dewisol)
Ar ddiwedd yr wythnos atebwch y cwestiynau:
- Pa ddiwrnod oedd y poethaf?
- Pa ddiwrnod oedd yr oeraf?
- Beth oedd y gwahaniaeth mewn tymheredd rhwng y diwrnod poethaf a’r diwrnod oeraf?
At the end of the week answer the questions:
- Which day was the hottest?
- Which day was the coldest?
- What was the difference in temperature between the hottest and the coldest day?
