Bwriadau Dysgu:

Bydd y gweithgaredd yma yn helpu eich plentyn i adnabod rhai siapau 2D a’u ffurfio.

This activity will support your child to recognise and form some 2D shapes.

Cam 1: Trosolwg o weithgaredd ar gyfer rhieni, gofalwyr a disgyblion

Mae stori ‘Waldo a’i We Wych’ sy’n sôn am gorryn sy’n dyfalbarhau i ffurfio gwe ei hun wrth geisio ei wneud mewn ambell siap 2D. Mae’r gweithgaredd yn gofyn i’ch plentyn fynd ati i geisio ffurfio siapau 2D. Efallai byddai’n bosib iddynt wneud hun gyda dŵr a brwsh paent ar lawr caled tu allan, neu gyda phensil a phapur os nad ydych yn gallu mynd allan. I’r plant Derbyn, gofynnir ichi fynd ati i geisio disgrifio’r siapau yma. Er enghraifft, ‘dyma sgwâr achos mae ganddo bedair ochr yr un hyd’. Mae yna fideo YouTube isod i helpu adnabod siapau yn Gymraeg hefyd.

The story ‘Waldo a’i We Wych’ (above) is about a spider who perseveres to spin his own web, attempting each time in a different 2D shape. The activity asks your child to have a go themselves to form 2D shapes. Perhaps they can do so with some water and a paint brush on a hard floor outside, or with pencils and paper if you can’t get outside. If your child is in Reception class, they could try and describe the shape to you. For example,’ this is a square because it has four sides that are the same length’. Cam 2: Cyflwyniad i’r gweithgaredd a gwybodaeth ychwanegol

Yn ystod y gweithgaredd yma bydd eich plentyn yn clywed a dysgu am siapau 2D megis sgwâr, cylch, triongl, petryal ac ati, a’i gweld o fewn y llyfr hefyd. Mae’r dasg yn gofyn i’r plentyn i fynd ati i’w ffurfio y tu allan gan ddefnyddio dŵr a brwsh paent, neu du fewn gyda phapur a phensil. I herio’ch plentyn ydynt yn gallu disgrifio’r siapau? Ydyn nhw’n gallu darganfod pethau o gwmpas y tŷ sy’n siâp cylch/sgwâr ac ati?

During this activity your child will hear and learn about different 2D shapes such as square, circle, triangle, rectangle and so on, and see these shapes in the story too. The task asks your child to go outside with some water and a paint brush and draw these shapes on a hard floor, or inside with a pencil and paper. To challenge your child further, could they describe the shape to you? Could they discover things around the house that are circles/squares etc?

 

Cam 3: Tasgau i’w cyflawni ar gyfer y gweithgaredd hwn

Er mwyn cwblhau’r gweithgaredd dilynwch y cyfarwyddiadau isod:

To complete this activity, please follow the following steps:

  1. Gwyliwch a gwrandewch ar stori ‘Waldo a’i We Wych’, trafodwch gyda’ch plentyn y gwahanol siapau yn y stori. / Watch and listen to the story ‘Waldo a’i We Wych’, talk about the different shapes in the story with your child.
  2. Gwrandewch ar gân Cyw ac enwch y siapau rydych wedi gweld / Listen to the Cyw shapes song and name the shapes that you’ve seen.
  3. Llenwch gwpan gyda dŵr ac ewch du allan at lawr caled gyda brwsh paent a cheisiwch ffurfio’r siapau ichi’n cofio, neu defnyddiwch bensil a phapur i’w ffurfio os nad ydych yn gallu mynd allan / Fill a cup with water and go outdoors to a hard floor with a paint brush, have a go at painting the shapes you can remember on the floor. If you can’t get outside have a go with a pencil and some paper.
  4. Gofynnwch i’ch plentyn i ddisgrifio’r siapau maen nhw’n ei gofio a/neu maen nhw wedi ei ffurfio / Ask your child to describe the shapes they can remember and/or have drawn.
  5. Gall eich plentyn dod o hyd i bethau o gwmpas y tŷ sy’n siâp cylch/petryal ac ati? / Can your child find things around the house in the shape of a circle / rectangle and so on?

Ar ôl i chi gwblhau’r dasg gallwch anfon e-bost at unrhyw beth rydych chi’n ei greu (lluniau, dogfennau, sgrinluniau ac ati) yn uniongyrchol i’ch athro neu ei uwchlwytho’n uniongyrchol i unrhyw un o’r lleoedd sydd ar gael yng Ngham 4.

Cam 4: Cliciwch ar y ddolen berthnasol isod os oes gennych unrhyw waith i’w uwchlwytho i’ch ardaloedd ar-lein
