Learning Intentions:
- To learn and name parts of the body in Welsh.
Step 1: Activity overview for parent, carers and pupils
In this task pupils will learn the different names of the body in Welsh. They will watch a 2 minute video clip which will introduce them to the vocabulary. Pupils will then practice the new vocabulary by singing the song ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in Welsh.
Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information
Shwmae. In this lesson we’ll be learning parts of the body in Welsh. You may already know some. Our first task is to practise the language you’ll need to complete your challenge. The video will introduce the vocabulary. Pause the video when asked to practise the phrases. Pob lwc! Good luck!

- Watch the clip below and join in with Seimon. Don’t forget to say the parts of the body out loud and use some actions too. Remember that you can change the speed of any YouTube video by clicking on the settings cog on the bottom right of the playback window and changing the ‘playback speed’. You could start off slower in order to practise singing in Welsh. When you have practised a few times and you can sing the song confidently, record a short video of yourself to show your teacher.

Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 6.
