Step 1: Introduction for parents and carers
Gwyliwch a gwrandewch ar y fideo. Bydd eich plentyn yn gyfarwydd gyda’r gân a’r lliwiau yn y Gymraeg. Rhowch gynnig ar ganu’r gân gyda’r fideo neu chwaraewch y fideo eto ac ymunwch mewn. Ar ôl ichi wrando a rhoi cynnig ar ganu, ceisiwch feddwl am wahanol wrthrychau a lliwiau gallwch ychwanegu neu newid yn y gân. Er enghraifft, yn lle coeden ‘banana’ i’r aderyn melyn beth am goeden ‘lemonêd’?
Watch and listen to the following video. Your child may be familiar with this song along with the colours in Welsh. Have a go at singing along with it or replaying the video and joining in. After you have listened to the song and had a go at singing it yourself, try to think of different objects and/or colours you could change or add to the song. For example, instead of a ‘banana’ tree for the yellow bird, how about a ‘lemonade’ tree?

Step 3: Follow up activity for you to do with your child!
- Chwiliwch am bethau o gwmpas y tŷ sy’n felyn/coch/glas/gwyrdd ac ati? Beth am greu enfys gyda’r pethau yma? What things can you find around the house that are yellow/red/blue/green etc? How about making a rainbow with these items?
- Sut bydd y pethau yma yn swnio yn eich cân? How would these things sound as part of your song?
- Meddyliwch am ganeuon eraill sy’n sôn am liwiau? Pa rai? Can you think of any other songs about colours? Which ones?
- Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or upload it to any of the available places below.
