Learning Intentions:

  • To weave paper to create a piece of art.

Step 1: Activity overview for parent, carers and pupils

In this activity there is an instructional video (approximately five minutes) to watch. Adult supervision needed to support your child in cutting the paper.

Resources needed: paper (different colours are preferable) and scissors.

The main activity can be completed offline.

Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity

Activity 1: paper weaving (adult supervision required)

  • Collect the resources needed for the activity.
  • Follow the instructions on the video above.
  • Create your own colourful weaving piece of art.

 Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 5.
