This is a cooking activity that will need to be supervised by an adult.

Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information

Today you are going to make some Viennese Finger biscuits. These are delicious melt in your mouth biscuits.

It is important that you let your child do as much as they can themselves, for example weighing the ingredients, adding, stirring and piping the mixture.

If you do not have a piping bag and nozzle don’t worry you can roll the mixture into walnut sized balls between your well-floured hands, then press them down gently with the back of a fork to make a disc.

This is a fun recipe with lots of steps in it for your child to get involved in.
