Talk about the story:
- What was the name of the ice-cream shop?
- What animals were in the story?
- Who came in first to the shop?
- What flavour did the cow choose?
- What ice-cream would your child order?
- Would they try the fish finger ice-cream?
Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity
Activity 1:
- Draw a picture of your favourite part of the story.
- Write a few sentences to describe your picture.
- Remember your capital letters and full stops.
- Discuss your drawing with an adult.
Activity 2: Menu of ice-cream flavours
Imagine you have your own ice-cream parlour, create a menu of different flavours
- Be imaginative and create new combinations, for example, honey and apple pie.
- Create a list of six flavours.
- Decorate your menu.
Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 5.
