- How many shapes can you make?
- Can you teach your dance to your family?
Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity
Activity 1
Go on a 2D shape hunt around your house.
- What shapes did you find?
- Can you draw an object of each of the following 2D shapes?
– circle
– square
– triangle
– rectangle
Activity 2 – Shapes in food.
- Can you make a healthy lunch and cut your food into interesting shapes?
- Does it taste better?
- Which shaped food is the easiest to pack into your lunchbox?
- Why do you think that is?
Challenge: Write a sentence or two about the shape that fits best in your lunch box and why you think that is.
Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 6.

Go into your garden collect some sticks, pebbles, small stones and leaves.
- What 2D shapes can you make using them?
- Which shapes are easiest to make using the sticks?
- Which objects are best for making a circle?
