Step 1: Activity overview for parent, carers and pupils
In today’s activity you are going to watch a short rap video performed by Fflic and Fflac before performing and recording your own. There is an available transcript and language help.
Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information
Gwyliwch y fideo. Watch Fflic a Fflac rapping about things they like in the video below.
Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity
Fflic a Fflac were using a lot of the pattern ‘Dw i’n hoffi’ (I like). Look at the patterns and words that they were using below. Can you create and perform your own Welsh rap?
- Practice your rap, making sure that you can say all your words clearly.
- Upload a recording of your rap to Hwb.
Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 5.

Success criteria #1: I can use ‘Dw i’n hoffi’ to talk about things I like.
Success criteria #2: I can perform my own Welsh rap.
