Step 1: Activity overview for parent, carers and pupils
In this activity there is a video story which is approximately four minutes long.
The main activity can be completed on or offline.
Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information
Whilst listening to the story ‘The Last Chip’ by Duncan Beedie, think about:
- How Percy was feeling throughout the story.
- What Percy needed to survive.
- How you feel about homelessness.

Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity
Activity 1
Choose whether you are going to write a paragraph about when you have shown someone kindness or when someone has shown you kindness.
Remember when you are writing your paragraph you will need to think about the reader and the points below.
- What was the act of kindness?
- Who was the act of kindness for?
- How did you feel after you gave or received the act of kindness?
Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 5.
Step 4: Look over the success criteria for this activity:
