In this activity there are two short video clips of approximately seven minutes in total. You will need to watch both clips to ensure you are able to complete the activity.There is also a two-page word document with three pictures to support your learning.
The main activity can be completed offline.
Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information
Today we are going to start by watching the two video clips filmed here in Pembrokeshire. Listen carefully to what is being said and make notes.

Now look at the three pictures below to see how coastal erosion has shaped the landscape.

Step 3: Tasks to carry out for this activity
Activity 1 – Coastal Erosion
From you notes write an explanation of what costal erosion is and its impact on the coastline.
Remember to explain the different features that occur as a result of coastal erosion.
- Use the correct vocabulary e.g. notch, stack, arch, erosion etc.
- Check you work to ensure that you have used the correct punctuation.
- Illustrate your work to show the different form of coastal erosion.
Once you have completed the task you can email anything you create (photos, documents, screenshots etc.) directly to your teacher or directly upload it to any of the available places in Step 5.
