Y3 > English > Language_Literacy_Communication > Welsh > label a flowering plant

Lesson by Maria Cox

Learning Intentions:

  • To know the different parts of a plant in welsh and their functions.

Step 1: Activity overview for parent, carers and pupils

In today’s lesson we’re going to look at the different parts of the plant and see what their functions are. We will look at Wales’ national flower. Do you know what it is? That’s right a daffodil! A daffodil in Welsh is ‘cenhinen bedr’.

Step 2: Introduction to the activity and additional information

The introduction video will go through the parts of the plant and what they do. Repeat out loud when prompted.
